School of Architecture and Design offers a multi-disciplinary study of creation that integrates art, science, and technology to make built environments and objects. Our international programs synchronize with current context and technology while experimenting with a novel design. A balanced combination of theory and practice constitutes a series of courses and studios that strengthen core knowledge and design skill. Our student body comprises 60% of international students from more than 30 countries. Naturally, students are immersed in a multicultural learning environment within a truly international University, preparing them to thrive as global citizens. The School’s active collaborations with professionals and the architecture and design industry also broaden students’ horizons and enhance opportunities in securing jobs as architects, designers, and design entrepreneurs.
Wipawan is a full-time lecturer of Product design program at Assumption university in Thailand. She holds BFA in Art Management from Bellevue University, USA. and received MA. degree in Fibers from Savannah College of Art and Design, USA.
Wipawan started her design practice from 2001 working both in design consultancies and corporations. Since she arrived at Assumption University, she has continued to grow as design practitioner and educator in the discipline of fashion and textile design to drive new fashion & apparel design. Her experiences of working as a fashion merchandiser & fashion consultant had enhanced her to pass out skill and knowledge of both in fashion design and fashion marketing to learners. While teaching fashion design and other classes at Assumption university, Wipawan encourages students to work with a design company and a social enterprise such as Art for Cancer. Students participated and gained new experiences from each project they were assigned.
