School of Architecture and Design offers a multi-disciplinary study of creation that integrates art, science, and technology to make built environments and objects. Our international programs synchronize with current context and technology while experimenting with a novel design. A balanced combination of theory and practice constitutes a series of courses and studios that strengthen core knowledge and design skill. Our student body comprises 60% of international students from more than 30 countries. Naturally, students are immersed in a multicultural learning environment within a truly international University, preparing them to thrive as global citizens. The School’s active collaborations with professionals and the architecture and design industry also broaden students’ horizons and enhance opportunities in securing jobs as architects, designers, and design entrepreneurs.
Peeraanong studied at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand graduating with Bachelor of Interior Architecture honours degree. She continued her studies by completing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Advertising and then a Master of Arts specialising in Architectural Lighting Design at Hochschule Wismar, Germany.
Her professional practice in interior architecture design field started from _ISM Interior Architecture Workshop, which teaches her to focus in depth of interior details. W/Light, The Flaming Beacon (Melbourne, Australia) and DJCoalition are remarkable architecture lighting design firms.
Peeraanong has won scholarships for interior design advanced, Domus Academy in Milan, with the IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers) for landscape design studies in New York and education trusts. She is a member of th IALD, member of ILLI (International Landscape Lighting Institute), the association of Siamese Architects and the Thai Council. She is licensed to practice Architecture in Thailand. Peeraanong has been a mentor in ILLI class in Japan and also a guest lecturer for lighting class of Universitas Ciputra Surabaya.
Research Interest
Peeraanong’s research interest include interior architecture, business marketing and lighting design. This ability with technical knowledge, allow her to conceive strategies which enhance space in new functions.
